| On a joint accounts the aggregate total FDIC insurance is $500k. You get an additional $250k in accounts titled as individual accounts. For accounts with PODs listed you get $250k per beneficiary up to 5 beneficiaries. Many ways to get really high coverage at one bank by being intentional about the way you title your accounts.
