No.The company continued as a truck co. The ag division was sold to Tenneco and merged with Case. Companies sell off divisions all the time for various reasons. GM and Chrysler went bankrupt.
What difference does it make? IH either had to merge/sell or file bankruptcy..IH trucks in '86 became Navistar
