NE Iowa | Every group of ground is different. I have 4 groups of ground... this is the approximate line I would draw for switching to soybeans over corn.
Group A: Already 50/50 ground, 2.2 c/b ratio
Group B: Average dirt - 2.75 c/b ratio
Group C: Good/Great dirt - 3 c/b ratio
Group D: Bean Ground going back to Beans: 3.2 c/b ratio
As the months go past, I will sell corn, and it will be more and more difficult to get me to change to raising soybeans. | |
