south central IL | I realize that test weight isn’t a factor in the yield equation. That being said on our farm it seems that higher test weight corn numbers almost always out yield the low test weight ones, they keep better in the bin and you also can store more bushels in a bin. My son and brother who do the feed grinding sure don’t like it when you can’t get enough pounds of a light test weight number in the grinder to make a full load of feed. | |
