SE Iowa
Curious on the 65% wear. Is that considering bushels being the same like 10,000 bushel of corn vs 10,000 bushel of beans or is that like 10 hrs of threshing beans vs 10 hours of picking corn? Kind of a big difference and am generally curious.

We run the newer machine on beans and a 2001 2366 on corn. That 2366 just will not stop… our newer combine had to finish the season just once for it on corn two years ago when the hydrostat gave up with 50 acres to go. This year it junked an S pin/master link in the feeder house chain with 5 acres to go for the year which was a quick fix. We joke it just wants to make sure we fix her back up to keep her around another year. But what’s it worth? Most would say, “what does it weigh?” But it’s been invaluable to us.
