| I do not mean to pick on either of you personally - so if you take offense that was not my intention. I'm a bit taken back at the level of conviction of some on here. In 2 years rates could be higher, could be lower, could be the same. It'd be most prudent to assign a level of probability to each. Nobody should be out there betting the farm on lower rates. That being said, I personally assign a greater likelihood of rates being lower in 2 years. As always I reserve the right to change my mind when the data / facts change.
I had intentions of buying the 10 year if it hit 5% and sell on a trade at 4%. Got busy between work and harvest and simply didn't follow the market closely enough for a bit so I missed when it hit. I still like this as a trade over the next year if we sniff 5% again. I'm not a casino goer so this is about as close as it gets for me. | |
