When I bought my last spreader the sales guy said, "you pay for the axles and the drivetrain.  The extra length isn't that much more."   I bought the Artex SBX800 and have no regrets.    Time is money.   We pull the beaters in the spring and put silage sides and door in, so it gets double duty.
