NW Washington | I posted this below in the thread about shoulder pain but PMR is a problem with muscles and not joints. If things don't get better ask your doc about PMR.
"A few years ago I suffered from shoulder pain which later affected my leg muscles and it turned out to be polymyalgia rheumatica also referred to as PMR.
Check this link for symptoms and treatment for this illness. Prednisone steroids soon fixed things when we figured out what was wrong."
