Latimer, Iowa (north central)
If all you are looking for is pulling your air seeder with an older tractor one like this would work. It wouldn’t be any more of a time bomb then an old 4wd and be nicer to run. Sold today on Del Peterson, I know nothing about it, seemed cheap. The older 8520 Deeres are a heck of a pulling tractor but obviously more money. I would not want to fight a stieger on a small airseeder unless really have some hills.

I have pulled a 350 bushel 1910/1890 on 7.5s, so 64 rows, with a magnum 310 and it thought nothing of it.

Edit to add: on an old 4wd you are almost buying tires as much as anything. Could run 20 grand to reshoe an old horse. Find one with good tires.
