Dude, do you realize you are so over thinking this that you're making your brain hurt? If green service is best, run with it. Being overpowered is not a bad thing, you probably can idle down a touch if you are worried about fuel economy without sacrificing hyd flow. I'd be much more concerned with the service history of the tractor you're looking at and how many dollars it needs thrown at it short term
