Cherokee iowa | Slow and steady. Like palmy said “pick a month”. It’s a long way to the top of the mountain. I don’t think the peak has been reached. Can we even see it yet? Market got tired marching paper up. Had to re-evaluate if the climb is worth the time. Time will tell even February 2025 is whispering of days ahead. Love this colder weather of 0-30 degrees the cattle with there winter coats getting plush. Crisp dry air. Looked at old records from dec 2019. Sold ten head stiens weight of 1785 topped the sale barn at $.89 idk about you. But hasn’t a steak always cost 12-20$. Does live price really play that much roll in the case? At some point I’ll be selling under a $1 a pound I told the wife. Won’t be till at least 2026 it looks like to me.
