Scpa | I just went through this on my cummins. All celect/celect plus engines need good clean power and more importantly grounds. So check and clean all your battery cable connections at the batteries, starter, and alternator, and possibly replace your cables. Secondly make sure your fuel shutoff solenoid has a constant 12v while cranking. If it doesn't its more than likely your starter is drawing to much and is bad resulting in a crank but no start. Also make sure your ecm is powered directly from the batteries and not still piggybacked off the starter.
