Offset is going deep and very black soil, can be a great tool. Primary tillage machine, like any tillage tool it can leave a hardpan at depth

Grew up with an offset, was a great tool.

High speed is more of a finish tool, obviously faster per acre, they can do a good job, some brands do better than others. Hardpan would be closer to seed bed depth.
