With my little to no experience I would say yes especially if have a chopping corn head. My dealer did say that they would be a lot better with chopped corn stalks but also said maintaining and replacing the chain, sprockets and and stuff can be expensive. I am only going off of what I was told. I would strongly encourage demoing one before buying one.
