| You do not need to put foam under the floor, the ground under the floor is 45 degrees, not much cooler then what the shop needs to be inside, put the foam vertically around the perimeter down about 3 feet where it will do some good. Personally I would NEVER insulate a pole building, (spray foam MIGHT be an exception) just a giant playground for rodents, might cost more but go with a stud frame building for shop not that much extra, if you can't afford it build the size you can afford, but build it right even if it is on the small side. | |
