There's just a lot more going on in livestock country than combining corn and beans, then turning it black.
Lots of mouths to feed, feed to mix, feed to get put up, bedding to get put up, pots to load/unload, buildings to wash, lots to clean, manure to haul, etc.
How widespread is winter weatherland and harvest delays?
