Need to build more storage for machinery. 60X96 wood structure is $87,000. Dirt floor. Will every only be cold storage. Or should I build the bare bones of a shop for a little more and just use it as cold storage until I grow into it?
Saw a quote for QE metal buildings at $76,000 for 80X100X18 non insulated. Another 12k for insulation? Erect it myself. Can a guy figure $7sqft for concrete anymore? Another $3/sqft for insulation and vapor barrier. 15k for a couple nice doors. That’s $183,000. Figure I can use it as cold storage for the first couple years and grow into it. Any suggestions how to approach it? Am 28.
Location would be nice but around here there's a lot of two-sided sheds with compacted gravel floors being used. Extremely handy to just pull stuff through. At an equal number of three-sided as well. I suppose security could be an issue in some places. |
