If you need cold storage, then build a cold storage building. Just remember whatever size you are building, it is too small already. In my 40 years, I have never ever heard someone say, wish I built it smaller. If you plan on farming for the rest of your life, then plan for the future. You will grow bigger and bigger each year. Build it bigger today, instead of adding on in a few years for twice or triple the cost down the road. 70x 120 or even 150. Trust me. Don’t Mickey Mouse this building to be a shop in the future. If you need a shop, then build a shop, that is well planned out. Instead of building a shop out of a building you started years earlier and never planned for certain things you may need or want in a shop. Do it right. If you plan to convert this building from cold storage to a heated shop in a few years, where are you going to store your equipment then. You are going to need storage again. What start over.
