| Everyone’s priorities are different. No doubt 90%+ of those acres were harvestable at some time this fall already. Livestock, ballet practice, shut it down at 5, these things get prioritized ahead of harvesting and most years it turns out fine with nice fall weather to finish in. My personal opinion is every ear that falls on the ground is another chance the corn market holds above $3. Now I doubt it has that kind of impact. But, if it doesn’t, why are we worried when someone else gets done combining in the first place? | |
