coast of Maine | An answer on the insurance on equipment after a fire,,It is not the dollars lost but the ability to find that equipment,,especially if said loss happens at near planting time or harvest time for you grain guys.My major loss took place in December,,what a bugger to get it all bought/fixed the way you need,,and I had a few months.New buildings dont just happen either..most losing most all buildings and equip would lose a season which would mean a potential debt spiral....farm income insurance from a fire is rare,,can be had but most do not..I do now. | |
