Having multiple dirt floor sheds and one shed with concrete, I would NOT build a new machinery shed, no matter if it was only cold storage or not, without a concrete floor.


If you have any inclination of ever making it a shop, I would at the minimum have the rafters spec'd for the possibility of adding an insulated ceiling at a later date.    I'd probably go ahead and put insulation under the concrete as well.
