In 45 years of farming I've never had above average or record yields harvesting low test weight corn....ever.
That may be, but it isn't the test weight making the yield go up. Test weight has nearly as much to do with kernels size, shape and slickness as it does with the density of the kernels. It's a stupid vestigial measure of quality that measures absolutely nothing of quality or yield.
I had hogs for 25 years your statement "nothing of quality" gain/per day was less the lower the test weight the corn was,I had a scale on the grinder mixer, I kept very good year to year records.
