Your buddy isn’t alone. We have been trying to get a local guy with tracks to come do a few hundred acres of corn for us that I highly doubt I will be able to get on this year yet to harvest. We have had quadruple the rain in sept and October than we had from may 1st to September 1st. Gonna be a trying rest of harvest
