| New to NAT, sorta. This is my first time posting.
Been reading alot of the older threads over the past few years and been very helpful. So now I finally decided to become a member of this great group of people.
Bought this white plow last year to replace dad's old JD145.
Plow is set up 4x16's, but has holes to go to 4x14's.
Model sticker is missing off the side, not sure if it's a 508 or maybe a 548?? Looks different than other 508's on tractorhouse in regards to the front of the backbone having the flat plate like you would be able to bolt a caster wheel on it if it was a onland plow. Looks the same as some 548's I looked at on tractorhouse, but it has the ram on the tail wheel instead of being up front with a bar going to the back to lift the tail wheel.
There are some Oliver parts on this plow, so not sure how many parts interchanged on a 508 from the older oliver models.
Just want to clarify what model it is, my hopes are to find a backbone extension and add a bottom to it sometime soon, so I want to make sure of the model if there are any differences, and end up getting the right pieces from the parts yard. Would like to have 5x16's.
I have read through some of the older threads on white plows, but some of the measurements to what has been listed for a 508.
