Nw Iowa | Finished last Saturday on the harvest, 2 days left of cornstalk tillage, big issue is getting our manure on, like to cross chisel it after applying manure as it seems to even things out abit. Always a struggle when you are dealing with manure as freeze up never far away.Here we also apply NH3 in fall on non manure acres. Yields good. Very lucky here, probably our best two years. Funny how it a averages out, 2 yrs prior some of our worst. Last 4 years, it has really depended on which side of county you are on. We were super dry in 21 and other side of county exc yields. | |
