| I am somewhat new to drilling rye but drilled 40 acres a couple days ago after running the corn. We don't have much moisture though at this time. I am in SW Iowa near the Missouri border. Looks like it gets really cold at nights in a few days so don't know if it will sprout. Just wondering if it needs to sprout before freezing? Was hoping to bale and wrap next spring for cattle feed. Did I get it in too late?
