All depends on what the contract says. Most pastures around here, cattle come off when corn stalks are ready, or cows are getting out because it looks like a golf course. Id take them off sooner vs later if you want any recovery. Going to be tough to get that this late in the year with cooler temps/freezing. Every year and pasture is different, but oct 1 is usually good time.
