| It's simple logical reasoning. Unless the belief is that the vaccines have no positive effect in any capacity it's flawed to conclude that the vaccines were not worth getting simply because the reaction to the real virus (after taking the vaccines) was mild.
That scenario is literally describing how a vaccine should function: you're infected with either an inert virus or a portion of a virus or some other means to train your body to react to it. That initial reaction is producing an immune response with all the symptoms that go with it. Once you do get infected with the actual virus your body is trained and capable of reacting to it much quicker than if you had been infected without any prior vaccines. Your symptoms should and typically are more mild than if you had been infected with the actual malicious virus without any prior vaccines.
That's how it should work and based off what they reported it appears to me that's exactly what happened. | |
