The best protection is from a large % getting the vaccine.
What is the vaccine doing if it isn't protecting you from the virus?
So by your theory, just takes one un-vaxed person to infect everyone.......
And the only people I've heard of getting measles are the un-vaxed ones. Certainly hasn't been an epidemic among the vaxxed people.
