SWMN
First of all I'm a livestock guy. "Take care of the animals and they'll take care of you". So I believe and have seen "livestock" numbers in my soil explode. I am getting natural NPK, and higher yields on reduced "Salt" fertilizer. Secondly they send out flunkies to do the soil tests and since I band my nutrients in a strip, I cannot trust that they are testing correctly. They are basing their recommendations off that. I have added a small portion of my acres to wheat with cover crop after and my yields are stellar in a drought year.

I'm just trying to put the pieces together for success in regenative ag environment. I know there are a lot of smart people on here that can speed up this process. I have seen the days of tillage, add "salt"(fertilizer), tile. Rinse, repeat, recycle, and slowly there will come a day when you can't get it black enough, can't put enough salt on, and tile lines are now 5ft apart. Then when you've killed all your livestock in the soil, will you still see good coffee shop yields???
