Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier. | Some time between now and then, but like to get a plan together early. I will have cattle on the farm next year. Which is awesome, because it's been a few years. The last few I have been doing a cover crop(turned forage) of sorghum sudan behind my wheat. Or frost seeding red clover. This year I will be paddock grazing the 130 acres after the wheat is off. Would like to know what has been working or any suggestions on specie/species to maximize this system change. I appreciate any input. I ultimately would like to benefit soil and livestock as much as possible. |
