Big Sky Country
I use a pull type fert spreader, think it holds 3 ton?

Frozen feed ground or sod—-works pretty good to string it out—-use the odometer.

More snow, I like to put it in piles, made an open ended box , there’s an arm on the shaft that pulls the fert drag chain—-it trips every revolution.

About a scoop shovel full every 30’ or so. Easy to count the ‘clangs’—maybe 12# per dump.

I’m kinda limited on height, maybe a dump that’d trip every time it got over center——?——a bale counter for those of us with old brain cells?
