Nw Iowa | Don’t give up your 18” plow for a 16”. Much less clearance. I don’t know what you are plowing but you will appreciate the clearance if cornstalks or any other trashy surface. A lot easier to get it plowed and than level it out with another tillage tool. No matter what spacing, you will fight dead furrows which are much harder to deal with.Here when plowing was common at end couldn’t hardly give a 16” plow away. The plow you have has the later 720 bottoms on it I believe which have better clearance and a better bottom mounting system. I would keep what you have, don’t know how worn it is but that plow has a pretty good reputation.
