South Dakota | That control box new is stupid expensive. I think last i checked it was around $1,000. If you want to keep cutting and just get the job done you can always turn the reel speed on manually. It takes a 10MM and a small flat screwdriver. There is a valve under the cab ladder that has a black electrical box attached to the rear of it with wires going into it. Pull off the rubber cap on the rear of the unit and loosten the 10mm jam nuts. Then take a flat screw driver and screw the stud out to the desired reel speed. The down side to this is you cant adjust your speed on the go but at least you can finish harvesting. | |
