Better have deep pockets if anything goes wrong.

Bought a beautiful '16 Cascadia with Detroit engine and D12 automated trans with 400,000.

Engine has been fine, but the dash died the first week requiring a new panel....$4200.00.
During the test drive at Freightliner after replacing the dash the PCM went...another $3000.00.
The service manager was then warning me about a noise when coasting in the transmssion is likely a bearing that apparently fails often....another $25,000 (no repair, only replace with a reman).

To say the least I was done and sent it to a consignment auction.
Some other farmer paid $7700.00 more for it than I did, so at least I didn't lose too much on it.

I'm sure others have had better luck, but I juat wanted to give an example of what can happen.

I also hated that transmission for farm use, had to run it in manual shift mode as it was always doing odd skip shifts and trying to start out in higher gears at odd times.
This probably could have been reprogrammed to not happen, but I had enough of it by this point.
