| What strain? We have K-99 E-Coli on our farm, one year when it was muddy we lost some, got one posted at the state lab. After I talked to the vet I almost did not get it posted because it sounded like the way he described K-99, once they show symptoms of this strain they will die (and it was K-99). Vaccination of the dam is supposed to take of it or !st Defense at birth (with 12 hours, sooner the better) which is the route we went, been a good number of years and have not had another case of it that I know of. | |
