I know of a guy that thinks the 6.5 was a good pickup engine, that Case magnum guy would be more right than the 6.5 guy…there’s as Case, in a flagship as there is IH too. Whole argument is dumb all the old heads and masochists that deep down know even the soviets wouldn’t design as crude a tractor in the 70s as the 66 series still bitter that IH is only synonymous with junk semis and vocational trucks.
Id still trust a 6.5 further than a Case powershift... ;) lol
