Subject: RE: Fertilizer spreader question

Franklinton, LA
The badly worn blades should be replaced. Why not spend a little money on new blades and get the best possible return from your big investment in time, seed and fertilizer?

Moving the outer tip of the blades forward or in the direction of rotation will keep the material on the blades a little longer and throw it a little further from the spreader. If the outer tip of the blades is moved back the material will slide off quicker and will not be thrown as far.
