I will be the odd duck out there but we still grease our flag ships ever morn. I firmly believe that 1 pump everyday for 30 days is alot better service life than 30 pumps every30 days. Thats the rotor and chopper.each nibble 1 or 2 pumps. Turn on sep let r run a minute befor rev up. She has 4200 hrs and we are on the first set of original light chopper bearings. Wen i got it had an old man tell me take a grease gun count the pumps fill bearings till comes out the seals. Had 1 chopper bearing full at 32 pumps and other side took 60! He said some were not prelubed from install. And the combines that the dealers techs were givin grease to bearings on pdi were not seeing near the bearing failures as the dealers that said those are greased from new dont touch. So then we put chopper in low, parked out and idled it for 15 min. It puked a bit of grease out but that wasnt a surprise. Its still here an i did that in 2012 i believe.
