Subject: RE: Replace a CNH 2377 with a 7120?

Boone, Iowa

I had a 2388 that I ran a 30 ft platform and 8 row corn head on it.  Bought a friend’s 35 ft 2162 draper head and ended up finding a 7120.  I thought there would be an enough of  h.p. increase to the 7120 to handle the draper head.  I had to put a Steinbauer on last year to dump on the go, when in green stem beans.  When I get out of green stem beans, I can go 5 mph without any issues.  The corn head works great on the 7120.  I wish I would have went to an 8120.  I am still getting used to not having to grease every morning.  Lol.
