You can probably find an 8120 cheaper than 7120, same size rotor so no need to listen to the people say you have to keep it full. 8120 has larger cleaning area, and planetary final drives, they do burn more fuel than a 7120 but not all in the same place. I have over 5k separator hours in my 8120 and I still have more faith in it every day than I do my 8250. I am actually harvesting soybeans currently with my 8120 and haven't even hooked up the 8250. Other than the few known high maintenance areas such as transition cone and feed accelerator splines they are pretty solid machines.
