I’m fortunate to work with my wife’s grandfather and he has a lot of stories from his dad of the old horse drawn days. They had a hired man on the harvest crew who was driving the team for the combine. They came to the top of a steep hill and the guy said, “You want me to take this down that?!”. Apparently he hopped off the combine and walked a couple miles back to the farm and they never saw him again. That hill is still called “Missouri” today, as the guy was from Missouri.
