40 years ago my dad was saying 70 pounds was not accurate. We always used 67.
About 20 years ago we still did a little ear corn for deer feed. Had a guy want to buy some bulk, so we weighed 100# on the ear and ran it through a hand sheller. Did that three times and each time we had 90# shelled corn and 10# of cob.

In my opinion if your selling on the cob you should get a premium. I’d sell it at 56# per bu. On the cob.
