Subject: RE: Anyone like their Stoughton grain trailer?

Illinois
I’m the one who posted about my new 40’ trailer bowing in the middle. I want to make it clear that I do not dislike the trailer. It does everything we expect it to do. It’s just that my 2 Wilsons have no noticeable bow when loaded, and the Stoughton does, so I’m working with the company to try to see if it’s normal or if there is an issue needing addressed.

My guys say our Wilson traps open considerably easier than the Stoughton. I haven’t even looked into this to see if it may need a simple cleaning or if there is a fixable misalignment of some sort. As of right now, that item is the only functional advantage that I’d have to give to the Wilson. Everything else is the same, at this point anyway. This is comparing 2009 and 2020 model Wilsons with a 2023 model Stoughton.
