I have friend that is always late. His older brother told him years ago he will late for his own funeral. Took him 30 plus years but he’s getting better with timeliness. My wife is the same way we can plan a vacation for months still can’t get her ducks in a row to have stuff packed and in the truck at the agreed upon departure time.

My wife is like this too and it's frustrating enough to make vacations a lot less fun. We sometimes take separate vacations and get along fine that way. Her family made bets on how late she would be. The most outrageous time usually won. I once explained that I saw an airline with all but one passenger leave a half hour early because they were ready and had an available departure time. The "just in time guy" couldn't believe they left him behind. She blamed the airline instead of learning the lesson. I can't fix this. Good thing we each have our own vehicles or this marriage would really suffer.
