I get your point......but.....all those things you mentioned above don't have to deal with the largest unknown, mother nature.
With the amount of data out there, the human input becomes an equal or suboptimal guess as well. Another point I was trying to convey was we farmers try to feel special for what we do, but break down the decisions and it becomes clear, something not someone, else can make those decisions and operations. Just the evolution of the system. To a degree this is visible is the rise of the bto'sgrowing and the small farmer sits grumpy about it. Well what gave the bto the tools to overtake the Luddite farmer will soon undo the bto just the same. |
