Need at least 2 tractors for field work. 1 for planting and grain cart and 1 for tillage/ backup and misc work. If we had to do all of our tillage before planting and after finishing harvest, we'd never get done. That is if you're doing tillage. If you are running a pull behind sprayer, it's nice to have another tractor so that you can spray while planting.
