IL | Soil type will have a huge impact on what each tractor will pull.
I will only comment on the 4840 because that is the only of the 3 I own. I run mine with a 16ft 3 point chisel plow and feel that it's the ideal match in my clay soils. I run a 5 shank big ox V ripper which can be a bit much in places. Tried a CIH 2500 inline 5 shank ripper and didn't make it 10ft before I had to shove in the clutch to keep the tractor from dying. | |
