deep SW On. | Can't help u on your question other than to say Hog futures 6 months out are sick, if cash crashes like some /most predict and guys start losing $50 a hog it should make fire sales for pork.
Idk how much mkt. share pork can take away from cattle.
On pork side more independnts are quitting and either going to custom feed or just cash crop
Unhedged cattle guys have big $$$ sitting on there farms...idk if they are concerned about the risk, or, just part of the business | |
