| I agree. It seems very obvious to me that rents are driven by crop insurance. Ask your banker if he has seen rent formulas based off the spring insurance guarantee. Most will say yes. It really does little good for the young guys who have to compete in that sort of rental environment in my opinion, because as you said the margins are really squeezed. For young people who have family to rent from or another stable source of land, revenue insurance is likely very helpful. | |
